Bon goût et texture mais un peu trop salé

Premièrement j'adore la forme des pâtes ! Sauf que j'ai dû rajouté 3 minutes de plus de cuisson et ils sont quand même al denté. Le goût est bon, j'adore le pesto, mais je trouve le produit un peu trop salé pour moi. Je vais surement en racheter mais rajouter du poulet et des tomates cerises pour réduire le goût trop salé.

Salty, but good

I found this pasta from Knorr’s “Selects” line to be a great addition to supper, even if it’s not the greatest thing for you on a nutritional level. The main issue here is that the total pack contains roughly HALF an adult’s daily sodium requirement, which is high even for a product like this. Ideally, this should be split as a side dish between 2-4 people, but if you’re looking for a quick lunch this would do just fine in a pinch, just be aware of how much salt there is in it.

When it comes to flavour and texture, this pasta actually gets very high marks. I found it to be just strong enough, with the garlic pesto being on salty side but still very pleasant. Adding a bit of milk to the recipe and removing some of the water helps make it a bit creamier and I enjoyed it a lot more when I tried that. On a related note, it’s very easy to customize this side dish to your specific liking. Try adding some lemon, black pepper, or even just a dash of hot sauce if you want to kick things up a bit.

While it is VERY easy to cook (add to boiling water and stir while it simmers), be aware that I found it quite pungent while it was cooking, and the whole house soon smelled like garlic pesto, so try to keep a window open or something if you don’t love the smell as it cooks. Other than that, however, I really like this dish and thought it was a great addition to supper time.

Yummy side dish!

I thought the overall flavour of this dish was great! I was a little turned off by how the pasta seemed undercooked even though I cooked it per package direction. Aside from that, it was very tasty and I would definitely like to try it again.

Great Tasting!

We loved this side dish. I made it and paired it with chicken breast and steamed veggies. It was delicious. Subtle garlic flavour that even my kids loved! I will be buying this again.

Its just not to our palettes...

This product wasnt my familys favourite. We all found it a bit too salty. We also arent very familiar with pesto, so im sure if thats the way it is supposed to be. im not sure if i would purchase this flavour again but we would try another!

This was very easy to prepare and tasted great. I like the texture and the pasta turned out really well. The directions were clear and easy to follow and the pasta was really great!

Great Tasting Side Dish for Pesto Lovers!

We found that it was easy to make and you can really taste the pesto in this pasta. So if you like or love pesto this is the dish for you! However, if you may not be into pesto then this may not be for you.

We would definitely repurchase again!

When I make my own pasta meals, my all time favourite combination to cover the pasta has always been garlic and pesto...so when I saw this package, I knew we had a winner.
I gave this to my boyfriend to make (you know guys and instructions)...well, it turned out excellent. The instructions were well written and simple easy to follow.
The 'funnest' part of this side dish was the pasta...volanti. I'd not heard of this pasta shape before and I loved it! The perfect compliment to the pesto and garlic.

I love garlic pesto pasta so this was a nice surprise to see. I found the portion size to be a little small to share with a family so you'd need to purchase 2 packs.

The flavour itself is really nice. The garlic isn't too overpowering at all and doesn't have that fake garlic flavour that you sometimes get from a powder made sauce.

The noodles cooked up really nice and didnt get mushy. It's super quick and easy to throw together with some chicken or whatever you'd like to have.

Another great alternative for side dishes! I love that the flavor was a little more elevated than the normal side dishes in a pouch. The ahape of the pasta made it fun for my daughter to eat as well! It did need an extra flavor so I added a dash of salt and pepper.
