Don't think I would buy it again!!!!

I received this Nivea Q10 firming cream from Chickadvior to do a review.

I #gotitfree the last week of May 2017.

So for some reason I hate putting on moisturizer after a shower, since I think you should only put on body cream on your whole body when you are clean. With the exception of arms and legs.

Now I am a bit obsessed with dry skin I especially hate dry feet and hands especially.

I found the cream too light and used more product than I think I should use. I couldn't see the firming effect at least since I received it, end of May 2017 and today is June 14, 2017. I think I need to use it longer to see if it is firming.




I do like the consistence of this product it does not make them sticky. I found my hands were super hydrated and helped my nails grow due to it moisture retained in my skin and nails.

I received NIVEA Q10 Firming Body Lotion for free as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club for free in exchange for my honest review.

I wasn't too wowed by this lotion. It's not bad, but I found it to be comparable to your average lotions available.

I used it mainly on my legs, it did a great job of leaving them soft moisturized. I found a little lotion went a long way, it is a fairly thin / watery lotion, I probably needed only one pump per leg.

I wasn't a fan of the scent, it was too flowery to me. I sit on the side of my bed and put lotion on in the morning before work and I found that when I went to bed at night I could still smell it on my sheets which bothered me.

Personally I didn't notice any difference with my skin over the few weeks. I don't think it felt or looked anymore firmer than it did when I started. I probably wouldn't get this lotion again because of the scent, but overall it's a decent lotion.

J'ai aimer essayer ce produit grâce a ChickAvisor et Nivea #cadeau La crème pénètre bien a la peau laissant une bonne odeur et un peau douce .. je ne peux par contre dire que j'ai vu une différence coté qui semble donner une peau plus ferme ..

So these items take 2 weeks to start seeing results... with that said I dont feel we had enough time to test these products to full potential in order to give a full on review. With that said this is what I will say on the firming body lotion is it did make my legs soft my usual routine would be to apply these items on after a shower... for what I feel it did result wise I have a current favorite body lotion that does the same thing better so if the firming aspect does not actually happen its not something that I would probably end up buying but we shall see!

As part of the Product Review Club, I had the chance to try the NIVEA Q10 Firming Body Lotion ( #gotitfree).

The product did moisturize my legs. However, the smell was too powerful for me. The smell might be better suited for an older woman, though (50s-60s).

Also, when it got hot outside, my skin started breaking up after applying the lotion.

I am not sure I'll continue using the product.

It's just another moisturizer. I did not notice any difference to the elasticity or firmness of my skin (despite the advertisement on the bottle that promised results in two weeks). I notice the Q10 is the seventh ingredient after water and all the alcohols - I think the results would be better if the Q10 was third or fourth on the list. The body lotion is also very strong smelling. The perfume is too much and doesn't go away until half a day later. I really wish Nivea would make a fragrance free version of their products. I got this for free to test.

There are better Nivea moisturizers. I was super excited to receive this to sample and test it out, I am big on creams and moisturizers. My skin can be sensitive to some products and tends to be a little dry and I know Nivea is a brand that is often recommended for this skin type. I have used other Nivea products in the past with no issues. Also, I was really excited that the product was supposed to help tighten and tone my skin. I used this product for 2 weeks, following the recommendations on the bottle, I used it primarily on my legs and stomach area, and after two weeks I can honestly say I really didn't notice a difference. Yes my skin is softer and less dry but as for toning I honestly see no change. Overall this wouldn't be my first choice for Nivea products, for starters it left my skin feeling very greasy, it did not dry quickly and I often had to wait a while before putting clothes on. I tried modifying the amount I used but it didn't make a difference. On top of the drying time the smell was quite over powering, very artificial and perfume-like, not the best for those who prefer softer smells. I do like Nivea products I just don't think I'll be adding this one to my skin care regimen

I have mixed feelings about this product. I haven't noticed any real difference in the firmness of my skin where I apply the lotion So maybe with more continuous use it might start to make a difference, but right now it doesn't . It does leave my skin feeling soft and moisturized. It's a thin lotion so you don't need a lot of it. It does take a while to absorb into the skin which is annoying and it leaves your skin feeling sticky for a little bit. Not a big fan of that.
The one huge complaint that I have with this product and all the products in the Q10 line is the scent. All of the products have the same overwhelming, strong perfume scent that stays around of hours. It almost unberable. It also makes any clothing that you put on after smell and it will stay there till you wash that clothing item. Not sure if I will continue to use this product because that perfume smell is a bit much and I am not seeing the effects that it claims to have to put up with the scent.

I'm not sure of the effectiveness of firming the skin but I like how this makes my skin feel...nice and smooth and moisturized. The scent is a little too strong for me though.

I really dislike Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion. I find the scent VERY overpowering and way too perfumy, it gives me a headache and I just want to wash it off. It also really leaves my skin feeling like there is some sort of residue on them almost similar to getting chalk on your hands.
I would unfortunately not recommend this product to anyone.
