I have not read the books and I wasn't interested in watching this movie, but now that I finally have, I am hooked on the series! I really enjoyed this movie. It can be a bit slow and ridiculous at times, but the acting is really great and the characters are too. The story and the characters relationships pull you in and you can't wait to see what will happen.

Really good movie, close to the book. Of course the book is better because it's detailed.

I love the book and I love this movie! They did so well on this movie, it was pretty much exactly like how the book described it. It's such a powerful movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

LOVE LOVE The Hunger Games trilogy! Definitely my favorite dystopian novels thus far! When I was reading this trilogy, I literally ate, slept, and breathed every thing The Hunger Games. I think there's a lot to be learned from reading these books! While I liked the first 2 books (The Hunger Games and Catching Fire) better than I like the 3rd book (Mockingjay), I think they were each unique to themselves. They all had something to be desired from each one of them. Mockingjay was very rushed. It left me heartbroken with lots of tragedies throughout the book. I'm really hoping the movie isn't as rushed as the book is and hopefully we will see a lot more character development.
