I received the Aveeno peel off face mask for free in exchange for my review.

I'm on the fence about how well this works. I waited to use it twice before leaving a review, so I was basing this on more than one use.
It reminded me of elmers white school glue, but purple and with a mild scent.

Application wise it's what you'd expect; it was thick and spread easily. It dried in about ten minutes.
Peeled it off and it does stick to baby hairs so keep that in mind- I found it ripping at them when I took it off.
It did what it said, took dry skin off and left my face feeling smooth and soft, but I didn't notice a dramatic difference.

I think for the price point vs size you receive (about 4 applications worth) it's a bit overpriced. Did work though to du what it said.

Effective... with a bit of pain

This mask is EXTREMELY effective. I applied using a brush to create an even layer.

It took about 22 minutes to dry fully and then the pain of taking the mask off set in.

I have done peel off masks before but this one stung upon the peel off!

It’s not a deal breaker and I will try it again.

Great for soft skin

First of all, it smells lovely but not overpowering. I can be sensitive to scents but this was no issue at all. This is a liquid purple coloured cream which dries clear so you know when it's ready to peel off. The directions said to apply generously and they mean generously. The cream itself is a bit thin which made this difficult. I tried this two times now, applying thicker each time but think it should still be applied more generously as it was quite difficult to remove each time. It came off in pieces and was uncomfortable coming off. I think this would get easier if it was applied as a thicker layer, but as I mentioned the consistency of the cream makes this a bit difficult to do. This being said, once the mask was finally removed, I loved the results! My face has never been smoother. It works well, there is just a learning curve with the application.

Great face mask!

This is a really good face mask that delivered results immediately. It was very easy to apply and it felt incredibly satisfying to peel off. My face felt firmer after using the mask just once. It’s also worth noting that there’s a very pleasant scent to it. Overall, I think it’s a great product. Thank you Chickadvisor for sending me a tube of this great mask (for free) to try!

Quick and easy exfoliation!

Easy to apply. Dried extremely quickly, less than 10 minutes. Mask peeled off all in one piece. Skin felt tight and smooth, no more dead skin. Still felt like I needed a bit of moisturizer afterward, but then skin felt very refreshed.

Smooth & Clean

I received this product to try for free from ChickAdvisor. I appreciated the packaging; the tube came in a box which is great if you were to buy in the store because no one would be able to “test it out” or squeeze on it until it explodes.
I was impressed with the applicator tip because you could just dab it all over your face as opposed to having to dab it on your finger then apply to your face. The scent is a little strong so be aware if you are sensitive to scents, this is probably not the face mask for you. The mask goes on purple then fades and becomes transparent when it is ready to be peeled off. Mine dried rather quickly and didn’t peel off with one nice peel so I know that I didn’t apply a thick enough coat. Now I know for next time! The result after the mask? A very soft face that felt clean and fresh!

Smells fantastic!

I received this to try for free from chickAdvisor and I'm glad I did! The formula had a nice berry scent that wasn't over powering. The formula was a little tricky to apply. It's sticky and thick, so its best to use something like a flat brush or stick to apply an even layer. It takes about 20 minutes depending on thickness to dry. After it's dry, I was able to pull it off in sections. There was no pain or discomfort and minimal residue left behind. I didn't notice a huge overall difference in terms of blackhead removal, etc. but it did take off some baby hairs from my face. Overall, it was fun and easy to use and I would definitely consider buying this again.

Would definitely buy this again

Tried the Aveeno absolutely ageless pre-tox mask. Loved the smell & the mask was easy to apply. My skin felt great afterwards. Even my sister loved the way her skin left afterwards

Leaves your face feeling smooth

I just tried this mask for the first time and I loved that my face felt so smooth after just one use. An easy way to apply this is by squeezing the product directly onto your face and spreading it from there. Once on, you wait for it to dry and then it's time to peel! It was easy to peel off too (best to avoid your under eyes). Also a plus, I love the light purple colour of this mask!
