I received the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to review by Chick Advisor Product Review Club. First off, I was pleasantly surprised at how large the bottle was! I've been using it twice a day and I love how it really does feel like water. No oily feel or noticeable smell. I wear a lot of makeup to cover my skin imperfections and it was effective at removing my foundation and eyeshadow. However, its not that great at removing mascara, so I use a separate eye makeup remover for that. It leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out which is a definite plus in this winter weather.

I have used it twice today - this morning when I got up before applying the skin active miracle anti-fatigue wake up hydra gel moisturizer, and then again tonight after using a makeup removing wipe. This product is fantastic compared to other similar products - the size is wonderful! I use this sort of product twice daily so this portion will last a very long time! It is very similar to other products in terms of application - it is scent-free and really worked well especially tonight after i used the makeup removing cloth. I noticed right away how much more makeup this product removed compared to my regular brand! And also my skin feels silky smooth and so soft! I have noticed a major improvement in the texture of my skin in just 1 day - and it was -25 degrees out today and usually my skin is dry and rough after being outdoors in the weather. I would definitely purchase this product again. The size and price couldn't be better! I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends! Thanks again ChickAdvisor for the wonderful sample opportunities as well as the extra treats when I opened the box! The mug and David's tea was a wonderful surprise! Made my day for sure! xo :)

I received this product as part of the Product Review Club. I was looking forward to trying it out. However, I was sadly disappointed. I usually used this product after having a shower, and washing my face in the shower with water. I wear eye makeup and mascara everyday, so was looking forward to seeing how well it could remove the product. Even after having a shower, and having water remove some makeup, I didn't find the micellar water did a very good job removing the makeup. If I used it at night, I would wake up the next morning and have eye makeup under my eyes. It also would sting if it got into my eyes. Overall, rather disappointing.

I also like how the packaging is clear so that I know when I need to buy another bottle. I would have liked to see a pump bottle instead of a squirt bottle, but it's still easy to use. The cleansing water had no smell, which was pleasant. I found the water to be soothing as it dried on my face. The water removed all of my make-up, except my waterproof mascara. After I used it, I still felt like it didn't clean my face enough (especially on my T zone). I always ended up washing my face after using it. I would only use this when I need to remove make-up or running between the gym and home.

I got this product from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and was pleasantly surprised. First, it's a big bottle compared to other ones I've seen. Secondly, it leaves my face feeling so refreshed. I used to use wipes and never really cared it my skin was perfectly clean, but when using this product, I feel the urge to make sure the cotton pad comes out perfectly white. This results in less break outs. I can see this product being super useful on the hot summer days when I want to quickly remove some oil.

I love this Micellar Water. I use foundation every morning, and Micellar Water makes my cleaning job easier. Before i have another product to remove my makeup, but it is too creamy and oily, and most of all, it doesn't work well.
I just need to use cotton pad to remove my foundation and makeup easily. I can see all the makeup on the pad, and my skin doesn't feel oily or uncomfortable. Instead, my skin feels so clean and good.
It is a must buy if you need a makeup remover.

I'm a big fan of Bioderma. I have tried a bunch of different micellar waters and it had been the best at removing all my makeup and leaving me feeling clean but not stripped. This works as well if not better than Bioderma. The only thing I wish it had was either a pump, like some large biodermas, or a sturdier lid. This lid feels like it would break easily.

I received the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water from the ChickAdvisor review club and couldn't wait to try it! I have been using Bioderma Micellar Water and while its an excellent product it is very expensive and I go through a bottle quickly. The Garnier Micellar Water is just as good for less than half the price! I wear a lot of eye makeup and have combination skin. The Garnier water removed all of my eye makeup, including 3 coats of non waterproof mascara, without any problem. My combination skin was left feeling normal and smooth with no dry or oily areas. I also really like that there is no fragrance....it looks and smells like water. I have seen the Garnier Micellar Water at the drug store for $9.99 and I will definitely be switching to this product.
My youngest daughter is using it too and loves it as most of her blemishes have cleared up since she began to use it! I will buy it for her as well.

To be honest when I first saw this product I was very skeptical something with the word water in it would be able to remove the daily grime. The first time I tried it I had just woken up and decided to use the water to cleanse my face. I used a white cotton pad. After the first few wipes of my face I decided to peek at the pad. It was a gross brown color. I couldn't believe it, I was barefaced! Where did the dirt come from? After that I was hooked. I noticed after a week of using that my breakouts were a lot less. Now the only thing that I felt that it did not accomplish was to remove my makeup. I typically wear a lot of waterproof eye makeup so I knew that it wouldn't be able to get it off. But it has definitely saved me time being my go-to for my morning routine.

I received this as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. I am bad with taking off my makeup at night (mascara, shadow, concealer and eye liner) so I was very interested in trying this product off. I loved it! The water takes off the makeup quickly, with no stinging or residue. My own test is what my eyes look like in the morning, as some other products there is residue that appears the next day. I was happy that with the water, there was very little residue and it really depended on how attentive I had been the night before. I found I didn't need to swipe hard at my eyes to get the makeup to come off. Overall it was gentle, easy to use, there was no perfume (a plus!), it was non-oily and really effective. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it as a product.
