Tasty, but not mind blowing

I #gotitfree from Family Rated and decided to make this on a very busy night at home on my own. It took 8 minutes to cook and 5 minutes to rest and thicken the sauce. This is a lot like the Knorr Sidekicks but I found the quality about the same. The only difference I noticed was a new shape of pasta and a different flavour of sauce - this is a bit more gourmet than the existing sidekicks, but remains a bit lackluster. Personally I would use dry pasta i have on hand instead and maybe buy a pesto sauce in a jar that would be a bit more rich in flavour. I would recommend this if you're not very good/confident with cooking and need something pretty foolproof! It definitely looked nice on the plate.

I was pleasantly surprised by this

I received this product to try and review from Family Rated and I'm glad I did, I don't think I would have tried this otherwise!

I really liked the flavour, the ease of preparation and the choice of noodle. I don't buy sidekicks because the noodles are too thin and by the time it's cooked the noodles are mush. These noodles however were perfect and remained al dente just how I like them. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

This was enough for two young kids and an adult as a side dish. The flavours were great and even though my kids usually don't like pesto, they ate this one. Would be great as a summer salad base too! Easy to cook and serve. I got this as a free sample and would buy it again!

Pretty Pesto Pasta

I made the Knorr Selects Roast Garlic Pesto with Volanti Pasta as a side dish for dinner. The roast garlic and pesto together blend well for a milder pesto taste. I suggest adding some chicken and or your favorite veggies to the pasta. I received this product free to try and review and I plan on buying this product to experiment with some new ingredients to the dish. I did have to cook the pasta a few minutes longer the package directions so I suggest paying close attention while cooking.

A great dish to serve .

The aroma of garlic went through our house. The taste was amazing. Our family loved it.Cooked in no time . A keeper in our home.

tasty little side dish

the dish was really simple to cook. I followed the cooking instructions and found that the pasta was cooked to our liking. I'm a huge fan of pesto so I quite enjoyed the flavour of this dish. The portion size though was just barely adequate for the two of us. I received the product for free as part of the Family Rated Club.

The Roasted Garlic Pesto was good, but definitely not my favourite of the bunch. This is only because I am not the biggest fan of pesto.

this is great for those days when you come home late from work and need something on the table quickly. from start to finish it took about 25 minutes which is a great time saver when you have no leftovers in the fridge and need something quickly - I found this with all of the Knorr meals I've tried.

The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is, like I said, I am not a huge fan of pesto. but if you are, this is definitely a game changer!

Don’t follow the instructions.

When cooked as per the instructions, the pasta was still very hard. So when I made Knorr Selects Roasted Garlic Volanti I added extra 1/4 c water, covered the pot for the first 5 minutes, removed lid, cooked additional 5 minutes. Removed from heat and left for 5 minutes to rest and thicken. It’s perfect.delicious, creamy, saucy and aggressively savoury.

easy side dish

this was a easy, filling side dish to complement our dinner one night.
loved how garlicky it was- we are big garlic eaters and this was delicious!
the instructions were easy to follow- and the dish was ready quickly! (8 minutes!!)
but the sauce never really thickened as much as i thought it would/or would have liked it too- it stayed a bit on the soupy side of things.
i would definitely try it again, as it was a side the whole family enjoyed (including my son who doesn’t like pasta)
but i would use a little less water- in hopes of getting a thicker sauce.

Yummy.

This was easy to make - just add water and cook. The flavour was great. The pasta was a nice shape and covered in wonderful garlicky pesto. I did find the portion in the bag enough for one person only so one would need a bag per person.But, I loved the flavour.
