Gentle retinol product, but a little shiny

I found the retinol in this face oil to be fairly mild - could be because my skin is really not sensitive in the least, but I didn't notice any redness or flaking, although occasionally I would have a bit of a tingling sensation after applying. I've heard some scary stories about people using retinol so I was a little hesitant to try this out, but found it to be an overall pleasant experience. What I really liked about this product is how hydrated it made my skin feel - I tend to have drier skin, even in the summer months, so I enjoyed the moisture the oil provided. That said, it did make me look a little shiny on my forehead in particular. I don't think I'll have this problem in the winter when my skin is even drier, but for the summer it is worth noting that there is a bit of a sheen left behind. However, no greasy feeling at all which is a definite positive! The oil also smells really nice and is really easy to use with the pump applicator built into the lid.

Effective face oil

This is very fast- absorbing face oil that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. However, I do not think I would recommend this to people with oily skin (I have combination-mostly dry skin). Once massaged into my face, it left my skin feeling very soft and smooth with a bit of a glow-from-within. The scent is very subtle and not overwhelming in my opinion. After using this over a couple of weeks, I don't think this had any effect on my fine lines but I do see an improvement in the texture of my skin.

Smooth skin is on the way

I was able to try this out thanks to Chick Advisor and Neutrogena. It's a great follow up to the prep cleanser. At first i thought it would be really oily on my skin but it just seem to melt into in and felt so smooth and soft. i found i didn't need a lot to really make my face feel and look great. It warned on the package that because of the retinol your skin may be red, but I didn't have that happen at all. It looked really fresh and I thought better looking after trying it for a few weeks. I'm going to continue using it as I really like Neutrogena products.

So Luxurious

I was concerned about putting oil on my face but was pleasantly surprised at how supple my skin felt! And it was much lighter than I anticipated. I think I’ll keep using this product!

This oil flows on effortless

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil flows on your skin effortlessly. The scent is great and the oil is quickly absorbed into your skin.
I applied it once daily, before bed.
It made my skin feel softer and smother.

Nice oil with no results

I received this product #gotitfree from Chick Advisor and used this along with the prep cleanser for one week. The product promises results in a week, and I was hopeful that the two step process would be worth it. I used this product twice a day for a week. I liked the packaging, the built in pump tear drop worked well. The oil and cleanser had a nice scent, and the oil absorbed quickly. Unfortunately after a week I didn’t see any results wrinkle-wise (see my before and after photos below) but my skin was a bit smoother. I delayed posting this review so that I could continue the treatment for a few more weeks, and still after a month the wrinkle on my forehead that I focused on looks the same. This is unfortunate because I liked everything else about the product but for a two step process I would hope for better results.

Different but good

I didn’t know what to make NEUTROGENA® RAPID WRINKLE REPAIR® Retinol Oil as I had never used a facial oil before. The dropper was a little off-putting at first. The scent was very subtle, almost unnoticeable. The oil absorbed quickly into my skin and left it smoother than my other moisturizers. It worked really well with the cleanser. I am very excited to see how this performs long term.

Absorbed all in !

At first I was worried about using oil on my face, because I don't like oily feeling on my combination skin. The neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Retinol oil got absorbed into my skin quickly, without the oily sticky feeling at all! The little pump helped to deliver the right amount of oil I need, making it a no-mess procedure! My skin felt fine and full after using this for a week!

No time for serum

Don't get me wrong. I love Neutrogena but I don't get the concept of serums. I know it's concentrated and great for my skin and even better for my wrinkles but I don't have time for all this prep every morning five days a week.
I get a couple of minutes in the shower, have barely enough time to let the moisturizer absorb before I add concealer and foundation. I don't have time to add a step to the morning routine by adding serum before the moisturizer.
The product itself is great - it's just not convenient. It does not have an overpowering smell and leaves my skin silky. I didn't notice a big difference in the wrinkles. I don't think I would buy this. I am glad I got to try it free courtesy of Chickadvisor.

Fait du bien mais quand je met les goûte dans ma main elles sèchent presque immédiatement je dois mettre plus de goûte qu'indiquer. Pas vraiment vue de différence sur ma peau. # cadeau.
