I and my whole family use mouthwash on a daily basis as part of our oral hygiene routine. I was really unimpressed by this rinse. I do not care for the taste and sweetness of it at all and it left this funny feeling, almost a film of yuck, on my whole mouth. I'm so9rry but I would not purchase or recommend this product.

Hated the taste. I'm pretty sure rinsing my mouth with vodka would've been more effective(and tasty.)

Again, not impressed. I stand behind crest and its toothpaste but mouthwash ...nope, I'm out. Flavor does nothing for me (found I needed to rinse with listening after I used this), the blue chunks left on my tongue did nothing for me, and the comments on the back of the bottle that warn about staining did nothing for me. I love trying new products but this time I was glad I didn't waste my $ on trying a new product.

I got this in the mail to review. This is the worst mouthwash I've ever used. Both my husband and I agreed that it NEVER left your breath feeling fresh. It left a terrible after taste in your mouth.

    * I received the the Crest Pro-Health Multi -Protection Rinse as part of the Chickadvisor Review Club *

Thank You Chickadvisor and Crest for the opportunity to try the Crest pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse.I really appreciate the opportunity to test and try new products and give my honest opinions.

I really was hoping to like this rinse since it states some really impressive things on the label.Such as Alcohol free, killsgerms, helps prevent plaque, helps prevent gingivitis, keeps teeth cleaner and freshens breath. It sounded ideal.

Any products I buy or try I thoroughly read the labels.before purchasing or trying it.So one warning on the back of the bottle at the bottom really concerned me it states the following

*In some cases antimicrobial rinses can cause surface staining to teeth. This is not permanent or harmful to tooth surfaces and may be prevented by adequate brushing or removed at your local dental visit. *

I had heard of this in the past and although so far I have not experienced any staining using this product it has happened to me many years ago with another similar mouth rinse like this one.

Crest states on there website and I quote *If the stains occur it is a sign the rinse is working that after the rinse kills germs in your mouth the dead germs can collect on the surface of the tooth and create the appearance of a brown stain.*

They do say however it is a small percentage of people that this happens to.I don't want to take that chance so I will stick with my usual whitening rinses or the typical strong mouthwashes which I have become accustom to I must actually admit I like the burning sensation.

Aside from that information I read on the bottle.I found the rinse made my tongue feel slightly numb.It also left a really sickly artificial aftertaste in my mouth that did not feel minty fresh or refreshing at all and the taste seemed to linger for a long time.I also am not one who likes mouthwashes that are bright colors. So I did not care for the blue tinge in this one.

The toothpaste and toothbrush were a win for me but this rinse is a miss for me.But I thank you again for the opportunity to get the chance to find this out.

Awful mouth wash. Firstly, it didn't do much of anything to help with my oral health and secondly It discoloured my teeth after a while. I thought maybe it was my diet until on the CTV news last night they put out a warning for this specific mouthwash and how it can severely discolour your teeth, crevices almost like a smoker's mouth. What kind of oral rinse makes your teeth worse like that? I think it should be discontinued in my opinion...

My goodness, this stuff was horrible. I used it the same day I bought it, and boy do I regret it. The taste is unexpaineablely nasty. It burned like crazy and it left an after taste in my mouth that I could not get rid of, then it left a film on my teeth that I had to re-brush to get rid of. I do not recommend Crest Pro-Health mouth wash to anyone, unless you don't have taste buds and like to peel film off of your teeth.

This product may work but it contains a type of floride that turns some people's teeth a horrible brown colour. They do not list this on the label like the other products I have used in the past that contain this kind of floride. The stains can be removed at the dentist but I prefer to use one of the other products that doesn't force me to whiten my teeth after.

I'm on my second bottle. I bought it because I tend to have sore gums that sometimes bleed, despite flossing and brushing. It definately freshens your mouth, and does so for a long time, as well as kills germs. The problems are: 1. It can kill your sense of taste (foods taste kind of "metallic" the next day after you use it). 2. It does stain teeth. I've had perfectly bright and shiny teeth all of my life. After using this product, I started noticing small brown stains appearing on several teeth. Fortunately they are more towards the middle and back, but I am still not very happy, and I hope these stains fade with time.
