I really like Daniel Craig as James Bond. He does a great job. I like that this James Bond character seems slightly more 'real' than previous ones. I didn't like this one quite as much as Casino Royale, it seemed to be lacking something, I just can't put my finger on what.

Sooo in addition to being an excellent Bond, Daniel Craig is also quite attractive and that never hurts. Judy Dench is also marvelous as per usual - strong female characters- yay!
There were of course gratuitous scenes of violence and chases, but thats the bond series for you.

This movie was not as good as Casino Royale when it comes to the plot. However, Daniel Craig is such a good James Bond that I'll watch any of his movies.

**Spoiler alert** Minor plot details included...

Well, Daniel Craig is in fine form once again - all the sexy Bond, none of the ridiculous innuendo that earlier scripts (pre-Craig) were plagued with.

As a sequel to Casino Royale, this is a great follow up - tying up loose ends and introducing new twists that will be appreciated when I watch the two back to back next time.

However, as a standalone movie, this flick does not work. It heavily assumes you are familiar with the first movie, failing to introduce important characters and plot lines (actually, I hate when movies re-introduce, assuming that some viewers didn't see the prequel). I imagine you would be very confused if you see this movie without watching Casino Royale first. As a sequel, it fails to have a substantial plot of its own; it's very much a continuation of what came before.

I loved the character of Strawberry Fields - a nod in looks and name to all the classic Bond kittens. Kurylenko is a fierce Bond Girl like Michelle Yeoh (Tomorrow Never Dies) that *shockingly* Bond doesn't try to bed. I liked that, mostly because it supports the notion that he's still pining for Vesper. His other dalliance plays more like a stress reliever and obligate Bond moment that for me does not detract.

I highly recommend this movie as a sequel to Casino Royale. Otherwise all you'll have out of it are dreams of a shirtless Craig (its own reward, tis true).

Just saw this over the weekend. Your man will love it because it has every kind of chase imaginable: boat, plane, car, leaping over tall buildings with a single bound... well maybe not quite but, yes, Bond is in fine superman form and he doesn't let you down.

But really, we girls don't watch the 007 for those scenes. It is all about Craig's hotness. And he did not disappoint. I am in the camp that thinks Craig is the best Bond of all. Yes, he is somewhat wrinkly but with those eyes, that body and accent, he is a very sexy beast. No extraneous chest hair, no nasty smoking habit, not too much personality getting in the way and giving us reasons to find him annoying, just sex in a suit.

Judi Dench is of course the Queen, and for once the Bond Girl (Olga Kurylenko) is less Objet d'art and more Bond's female equivalent. She made me want to be a spy.

It is an enjoyable movie but I do prefer Casino Royale, which if you haven't seen it, do it now before watching this one as it does reference it a number of times and it will make you like Bond if you didn't already.
