I received this product free to test as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. I have been using this bar for about 10 days now, and I love it!!! The first thing I noticed about the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar, was the scent. It is a very nice, yet strong scent that lingers after the shower. I have sensitive skin, and sometimes have a reaction to highly scented bath products. This beauty bar actually seems to have cleared up my skin! Prior to using this bar, I had been using a glycerin-type soap, and had noticably dry skin. Since using the Dove bar, my skin is softer, and less dry. I felt moisturized and clean after using this bar in the shower. I am going to give up my regular bar soap, and use Dove Beauty bars exclusively now! I would reccomend this to a friend, relative or stranger - I love this bar that much!!! It is well worth the money, and seems to last longer than regular soap.

Oh Dove - the soap my Grandmother used, my Mother uses, and what I used on my babies.

So why did I stop using it myself? I guess I got blinged out by all the exciting body washes out there. So it was fun to get back to basics when I got this product free to try as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club.

The scent is the classic-what-I-remember-as-a-girl Dove scent. Much stronger in the package that what it goes on as with water in the shower.

It lathers up nice with a shower pouf (surpise to me as I forgot that it isn't just body washes that can lather) and you feel clean after. I loved that you felt moisturized too - due to all the moisturizers right in the bar, your skin feels soft and moisturized versus tight and dry.

I would recommend this to a friend. I will even continue to use it! The list of ingredients compared to my body wash is that much shorter and the price is better.

Thanks ChickAdvisor for a trip down memory lane and reminding me that sometimes newer isn't always better.....

The smell is nice and not too strong. I usually use body wash, but i love this soap!!!

My skin was not dry at all after i use the soap. My skin was clean,fresh and soft. No need of lotion or cream
.
I will buy this soap again.

Love this smell of the soap. I love the lather and smoothness of the soap. Doesn't make my skin feel dried out after a shower!

I was chosen to review the dove original beauty cream bar. I absolutely loved it. It didn't dry out my skin like alot of other soap bars do. It left my skin so soft and clean. There was no residue feeling left behind on my skin. I have seen commercials about it, but until you try it yourself you don't really know that what the commercial's say is really true. Everything the commercials say about dove is correct. It lives up to its expectations. I will definately make dove my usual brand of bar now. And I would recommend to anyone and everyone to try this bar.

I got my dove soap a week ago and have used it in the shower everyday. I absolutely love it! My skin feels soft but there is no greasy residue or anything. Just clean and soft.I will definately by it many times in the future and recommend that anyone who hasn't tried it yet go out buy a bar and give it a try.

I received the Dove Beauty Bar as a product to review. I have finally finished using it, and I have to say I would recommend this product to ANYONE. I have tried so many other brands of soaps. Others have left me feeling liked there was residue left behind and then others left my skin feeling dry. With Dove I did not feel either one. My skin is softer and feels clean without any residue that was left behind. 100% recommendation :) Way to go DOVE!!!

I was super excited when I got the Dove original beauty cream bar because my skin is picky with products and wanted to see how this would make my skin feel. My verdict is that I love it! It made my skin feel smooth and I didn't get that tight skin feeling from residue. My sister also tried it out and loved it for the same reasons! Believe me when I say you will feel a difference in your skin. I most definitely would recommend everyone to try this one out!!

I got this free from ChickAdvisor and surprisingly, this is one of the few products that stand up to its claims (I'm a gal who takes words and claims at their surface meaning, so I never got how products could make you "glow", for example).

I've seen Dove's Beauty Bars commercials about not leaving a soap residue behind, and when compared to other soap brands that I've used, the difference between Dove and other brands is very noticeable. After rinsing, other soap brands made my hands feel sticky -- not sure exactly how to describe it, but I'd need to use conditioner to somehow get rid of the stickiness -- whereas Dove had none of that residue and stickiness. I was very impressed.

My skin is normal, so I can't speak about its moisture claims.

One thing that bugs me about this product is its smell. I hate scented things, so I think I'll buy the unfragranced version next time. But other than its scent, I'd totally recommend this product!
