I just got my dove beauty cream bars in the mail and I'm loving them already! I could smell them before I even opened the package. They are so soft and make my hands feel like butter :P

I used to be a regular user of the Dove Go Fresh Beauty Bar in Nectarine and White Ginger until I switched back to my citrus Lever 2000 bar soap. To me, the Dove soap just didn't lather well enough with the nylon washcloth I used in the shower. That being said, I was somewhat reluctant to try the Original Beauty Cream Bar, as I expected similar if not the same results.

I was initially surprised by the smell of the Original bar, as it didn't match up to my expectation of a luxurious "creamy" smell. It simply smelled like soap, which was a little disappointing. However, when I actually washed with this soap, I was astonished at the luxury of its feel on my skin. The lather was buttery smooth, and as I scrubbed off my dead dry skin with the nylon washcloth, the creamy lather worked like a skin conditioner, revealing super soft skin as it rinsed away. For the first time, I didn't feel like I needed to moisturize my normally dry, scaly legs after showering! I am extremely grateful for the Product Review Club for introducing me to this product, and at perfect timing when bare skin is essential for summer wardrobes. This soap also makes a great alternative to shaving cream, as it moisturizes my legs and underarms and protects them from razorburn. I am absolutely in love with this product, and will definitely continue to buy when I run out. If Dove would change the smell into something more milky or vanilla-y, it would be the perfect soap for me. However, I am sufficiently impressed by its moisture and lather and would recommend this to everyone.

I had used the beauty bar before, a long time ago and had started to use more "body wash" type soap. When I took this out of the package, i could immediately feel the smooth texture and the light, fresh scent. I have been using it in the shower and am very impressed, now i remember why I used to use it! In the shower, I like to lather the bar in my hands and then wash my legs. If you haven't done this already, try using this product to shave, it makes your legs feel very moisturized and soft!

Compared to my other soaps, I feel that it does a good job of cleaning. I think it will stay in my shower for a while. My favorite part is how the bar has super strong moisturizers. You can feel the difference in your legs, which makes this a great product for winter when your legs are dry, or in summer when your legs need to look moisturized and smooth.

I have dry skin especially in the winter. Often after taking shower I used Baby oil because my skin was very dry, but now I can forget about this procedure. Dove beauty bar leaves my skin smelling, looking and feeling fresh and soft. And most important it's gentle on my daughter sensitive skin.
I love Dove's beauty bar soap because it keeps my skin so soft and hydrated. So if you have sensitive or dry skin you should definitely try Dove Beauty Cream Bar!

I have used Dove for almost a year now and I can honestly say that it works very well for how inexpensive it is. I use it on both my body as well as my face, and I feel that it works well for both. My face is combination/dry but prone to breakouts and this soap doesnt aggravate my acne at all. It tends to leave my face slightly tight and dry, but that happens with every face wash I've used and it can be fixed with some face cream. It feels a lot creamier than other bar soaps, and is also less drying (in my opinion). I would definitely repurchase and recommend to others. I absolutely LOVE Dove, it smells amazing, washes away nicely and doesn't leave that tight residue like other bar soaps! I hope everyone tries it atleast once, because I guanentee you'll never go back!

My first impression of this bar wasn't very good, I found the smell to be extremely strong and not very pleasant, But I thought I would give it a try anyways, WELL I'm so glad I did! this bar feels great on the skin, doesn't leave your skin feeling coated in film like most soap bars do, for that exact reason I don't use soap bars, but this bar has definitely changed my mind, It left my skin feeling silky smooth and fresh. Although the smell isn't pleasant in my opinion. I do plan to continue to use this product. Thanks so much Chick Advisor for introducing me to this product.

I'm not usually a bar soap user, but from time to time I will make the switch from body wash if the soap seems worth it. The Dove Beauty Bar is totally worth it. When I first opened the package, I was a bit taken aback by the scent, it seemed really strong. It's not that I don't love a scented product, it just seemed to be very dominant. The scent is a clean scent, soapy is the best word I can think of... I know describe the scent of soap as soapy. Yeah, but it is a clean, fresh, feminine scent that I've come to like.

The bar itself is hefty. Maybe, it's because it's been a while since I used a bar soap, but you get a lot in a bar. I love that. The bar lathers like no tomorrow, which I loved and cleansed very well. I loved how easily it rinsed away as well. You can feel the difference of you skin before you even get out of the shower. It's pretty amazing actually. I have dry skin and try to never skip a post shower moisturizer session, but this bar makes my skin feel so great that I won't feel so bad if I do skip it. While I did like my last body wash, it didn't leave me near as moisturized as the Dove Bar.

I would definitely purchase a few of these to have on hand because I think I'm hooked on them now and I've already started harassing everyone I know to switch to them, or at least try them! They're just that good!

I loved the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar because it lathered into a soft silky lather that left my skin soft and smooth and using it. I had some dry skin spots on my father and used the dove beauty bar and the dry spots went away after use. I will continue to use this great product! ***** 5/5 stars
